Programme: Kispest Honved vs Celtic

As you know if you read this blog, it has turned out far more “laddish” than I had expected, to the point I half expect Lily Allen to find it and write a song about it. However, football programmes do have a tendency (or certainly did have a tendency) to shoehorn “burds” into pretty much any old advert or programme. Having seen Notts County model wife and Iain Ferguson tanned “burd”, lets turn our attention to the dying days of the Eastern Bloc, as Celtic travel to the Bozsik Stadion in Budapest for a European Cup tie, and on the very back page, a Hungarian Lassie sells the punters some carpet…

One of the words, I think Szonyeg, apparently means carpet, so we’ll go with that. Of course, it could be a furniture warehouse – it’s worth pointing out my Dads pal Dougie Donnelly did Scotlands furniture related ads, for Tillicoutry near Sterling…luckily, Dougie didn’t ever pose in such a manner, just sticking to the voiceovers, which is good news for everyone…
