Meanwhile, just a few months later, while Joe was still flogging The Electric Beach for all it was worth, it was the turn of the weans to take centre stage in the Hibs programme with some “Fancy Dress Thrills” – I often pour a snifter of cognac and try and work out what the hell the weans are dressed as…Ned Kelly? A Boxer? Santa? An Arab Terrorist? A wean in blackface? Who would know, but I’m sure it was worth it to see the weans smile…or in this case, not smile. Particularly Santa.
